Privacy notice
What we collect when you apply, why we hold it, who else ever sees it, and how to make us delete it. Written to be read once and understood.
The information that reaches us
The application form asks for your name, a phone number, an email address, the registered name of the business, its trade, roughly how long it has been going, an approximate figure for monthly deposits, the amount you are after and, optionally, a line on what it is for. Nothing on that form is gathered for a purpose other than answering it.
Should the file move forward we will want business bank statements, and depending on which product you are being quoted, an identity document, a voided check or your formation paperwork. Those are requested at the point you say you want an offer — you will never be asked to hand over a bank statement in order to receive a first reply.
Underwriting includes a credit enquiry, run with your consent, because there is a stated floor and it cannot be applied without one. Separately, our servers log what any web server logs: an IP address, a browser string, which pages loaded. No advertising cookie is set on this domain and no third-party tracking script runs on it.
Why we hold it
Five reasons, and there is no sixth. To work out whether we can fund you. To build and present an offer. To correspond with you about that offer. To administer a facility once you take one. And to keep the records a commercial finance provider is obliged to keep.
Your details are never sold and never rented. They are not handed to anybody whose business is selling you something else, and applying to us does not add you to a list. Anyone who has applied widely in this industry will know that is not a universal practice.
How it is kept
Every page loads over HTTPS and the application posts over an encrypted channel. Files sit in access-controlled systems that only the staff working on them can open. Statements and identity documents are held for as long as the file and our regulatory obligations require, then destroyed rather than archived indefinitely.
No system anywhere is beyond compromise, and a claim to the contrary would be worth nothing. The honest version is this: we take the least that lets a decision be made, we hold it for the shortest period we are allowed to, and we would sooner put a question to you twice than keep a document on file that has stopped earning its place.
What you can ask us to do
Ask for a copy of what we hold. Ask us to correct anything in it that is wrong. Ask us to erase it. Any of those goes to contact@premier-advance.com">contact@premier-advance.com, in a sentence, and we will confirm receipt and act inside the window the relevant law gives us.
People living in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and a growing number of other states hold specific statutory rights over their personal information. We apply the same handling to everyone who asks, wherever they happen to live, because maintaining two standards would cost more than it could possibly save.
Marketing email stops the moment you reply and say stop. Correspondence about a live application or an open facility is not marketing, and that continues while the file is open.
Not a site for minors
This is written for people who run businesses. Nothing on it is aimed at anyone under 18, no information is knowingly taken from a minor, and anything of the kind that reaches us by accident is deleted rather than retained.
When this page changes
Change how we handle information and this page changes with it, with the date at the top moved to match. Anything of substance is announced in a banner at the top for long enough that a returning visitor will see it, rather than edited in quietly. Earlier versions are available if you ask for one.
Where to send a question
Anything about this notice, and any request made under it, goes to contact@premier-advance.com">contact@premier-advance.com or by post to 55 Water St, Wall Street, New York, NY 10038. A person reads that mailbox. It is not a ticketing system and you will not be assigned a reference number.
